Skipper ✪ Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Even if it was launched in the market just 24 months ago, the latest generation of the Civic Type R is already preparing to receive a facelift. An upgraded version of the compact sports class Japanese could be presented by Honda officials before the end of the year, according to the latest information. The fastest front-wheel drive in the history of the legendary Nurburgring circuit, the current generation of the Honda Civic Type R is expected to receive an early facelift in the coming period. Launched in the market two years ago at the Geneva International Motor Show 2017, the Japanese compact class was surprised these days in tests, along with some camouflaged elements. It is intriguing that, alongside the front and rear spoilers, Honda engineers have chosen to hide curiosity, including the ceiling, which has led some to speculate that the new Civic Type R will give me a carbon roof. If these rumors prove to be true, the improved version of the compact Japanese-style sports car would be one of the few volume cars that offer such an option, more and more common on top-of-the-line premium models. And if it comes to performance, no one can say for the moment, unfortunately, if the new Honda Civic Type R Facelift will offer 320 horses or the 2.0 turbo unit will be modified for extra power. Finally, these are said, we conclude by recalling that the improved version of the Japanese compact class is intended to debut in front of the general public ... just before the end of the year.
