After having spent a century in stasis, En joined its destination: a legendary palace, a work of a civilization of old times, which still awaits its first human occupants. Relying on forgotten technologies, En hopes to bring someone back to life. But nothing had prepared her for what she will face in the dark corridors hidden beneath the surface. The experience begins with a character-centric exploration to turn into a more complex adventure. The Palace studies all your deeds and actions in order to use them against you. The game is a mix of stealth, action and mani[CENSORED]tion, while you face your ultimate enemy: yourself. YOUR WAY OF PLAYING SHOWS THE GAME All in one consequence in ECHO: as you mani[CENSORED]te the technologies of the Palace, you will discover that it has its own will ... It creates "Echoes", exact replicas of yourself in every detail, which behave and act exactly like you. So, the way you play shapes your enemy. If you run, soon the Echoes will go faster. If you act stealthily, they will be more discreet. And if you shoot, they will shoot in turn. The game responds to your choices and your decisions. INTELLIGENT MECHANICS The Palace "resets" from time to time, during black-outs. These blackout cycles correspond to the rate at which the Echoes are updated according to your last reactions, learning and learning according to your actions. During a blackout, the Palace is blind, which leaves you free to act without consequence. It is then time to go for it, shoot and do everything you do not want the Echoes to learn. The experience puts you in front of your choices since the last black-out cycle, allowing you to shape the game from one cycle to another. Whether you prefer discretion or action, one thing is certain: you will have to think continuously to survive in the Palace. A FUTURE ATMOSPHERE AND SCENARIO The scenario is the cornerstone of ECHO. The game begins in the form of a narrative experience, focused on En and his journey through the Palace and through his past. Who is she and what are her links with the Palace? Who is this man whom she must resurrect and under what circumstances did he die? Slowly, all the answers will unfold as you wander through the dark corridors of the Palace.
