INTRODUCTION PRESENTATION Face gigantic monsters in fabulous surroundings! Use the collected materials to forge weapons and armor worthy of a true hero that will allow you to face even more powerful monsters! "Monster Hunter: World", the latest installment of the saga, offers a new dimension of play and a sense of freedom beyond measure with previous episodes. HISTORY Once every 10 years, ancient dragons cross the oceans to reach the continent of the New World. This mysterious phenomenon is known as "Traversée des anciens". In order to unlock the secret of ancient dragons, the Guild formed the Research Commission, which is in charge of sending large fleets to the New World. As the Commission sends the Fifth Fleet to pursue the Zorah Magdaros, a colossal volcanic ancient dragon, a hunter among others is about to embark on an extraordinary adventure defying all imagination. ECOSYSTEM A world full of life There are different places with a rich biodiversity. Expeditions within these regions promise extraordinary discoveries. HUNT A complete arsenal and a faithful companion Your equipment will be your most faithful ally during your conquest of the New World. The arsenal of the hunter There are 14 different weapons available in the Hunter's arsenal. Each of them has its own characteristics and attacks. Some hunters have acquired great skill in many weapons, while others prefer to focus on mastering a single weapon. The navicioles You will find different ecofacts of monsters in each region, such as footprints or claw marks. Your navicioles can memorize the smell of a monster and guide you to other ecofacts. As you discover new ecofacts, your navicioles will provide you with more detailed information. The sling The slingshot is an indispensable tool for all hunters. You can use stones, nuts, or other objects found in the field as projectiles. The sling can be used as an instrument of attack, diversion or transport, allowing you to develop new strategies to hunt your prey Survival tools Survival tools can activate powerful effects for a limited amount of time. It is possible to equip two tools at a time. To use them, nothing more simple! Just select them just like any object. Palicos The Palicos are the best allies of the hunter. These little felines specialize in attack, defense, or healing, and can use many skills to help their master. The Palicos joined the Fifth Fleet with pride, as full members of the Commission
