Warlock- Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) It is an action role-playing video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is the third installment in the Souls saga, 1 Dark Souls III was released in Japan in March 2016, and worldwide in April of the same year.2 Dark Souls III was a success both criticism and sales, with the criticism naming this as a worthy and appropriate ending to the saga. It is the fastest selling Namco Bandai game in its history, selling more than three million copies worldwide in less than two months after its release. Although the game respects the mechanics of Dark Souls 2, you notice a difference in the first few minutes, although very minimal, very remarkable, for example: now when you take the bottles you can move slowly, the kick returns, the search for fragments is, dust bone, rings, weapons, armor, shields, magic scrolls, pyromaniacs, miracles are kept and the magic bar returns (PC). The graphics and artistic design is noticeably better than its predecessors and each boss has a different background melody. Dark souls 3 is the end of the saga and presents a world, the Kingdom of Lothric, on the brink of the Apocalypse because of "the curse of the undead", and the reason why the world has not yet sunk into the Total darkness is the sacrifice that many heroes and even gods made to rekindle the original flame, which is responsible for maintaining the "Age of Fire", allowing it to consume their respective souls and bodies. The protagonist, the character to whom we give life in this title, is one of those who call "Latentes"; these people are humans who managed to reach the furnace of the First Flame, tried to bind it, but were consumed and made ash without achieving its objective. These humans are awakened when the Lords of the Ash (those who were indeed powerful enough to link the First Flame) are awakened but do not fulfill their duty: to remain on their thrones (in the Fire Link Sanctuary) until they are sacrifice again to link the First Flame. That is, when the Lords of the Ash do not want to prolong the Age of the Gods (the age of fire) and abandon their thrones, the Latent must go for them to kill them and return their ashes to the Thrones, and the Latent If he succeeds, he must, as the last part of the plan, immolate himself, and thus become a Lord of the Ash. These Lords of the Ash are five (although it is assumed that many more humans and Gods have been sacrificed throughout history): Watchers of the Abyss The first Lord of the Ash with which we face is a collective. These knights are the legacy of Artorias (from Dark Souls 1). His mission, before being Lords of the Ash, was to fight the Abyss; if any citizen saw that characteristic armor of the Watchers in their home, it was not good news, because the Abyss was there, and the Watchers would end it or at least slow it down at all costs, flooding or burying the place, if necessary . Aldrich The second Lord of the Ash that we face is Aldrich, Saint of Darkness. This terrible being began being a simple clergyman of the Cathedral of Darkness (Cathedral of the Deep: it means, in fact, cathedral of the depth, but it was translated thus). But he developed a sickly taste for human flesh, even devouring a God, Gwyndolin, who was in Anor Londo. So, as Hawkwood, the deserter, tells us, this cannibal was made Lord of the Ash by power and not by virtue. Yhorm The third Lord of the Ash with which we face is Yhorm the giant, Lord of the Profane Capital. This was a descendant of a conqueror (this is a reference to the war between Drangleic and the giants, explained in Dark Souls 2), who loved his people, but this did not correspond; Due to this situation, Yhorm decided to do two things: the first, was to deliver two swords, called "Sovereign of the Storms", one to his people, and the other to his great friend Sigward, of the Knights of Catarina. He made these gifts because these swords are his weak point. The other thing he did was to try to end the Flameless Flame, a dangerous flame that some believe is a substitution of the bed of chaos (from Dark Souls 1). To accomplish this task, he linked the First Flame. However, the consequences were terrible: far from being extinguished, the Profane Flame gained such force that it devastated the Profane Capital. He did not burn but human flesh. Only a few survived, and these were later the jailers of Irithyll's Dungeon. Lorian and Lothric The last Lord of the Ash that we face is Prince Lothric, guarded by his brother Lorian. There is enough controversy around this "final boss"; and it is that it is given to us to understand in several objects that Lorian and Lothric rejected their destiny; This would make it appear that they did not link the First Flame, however, Lorian is engulfed in flames, like the Latent in the Ember state, in its second phase. This would indicate that they did link the Flame. With regard to the lore of these characters: Lorian is the eldest of the brothers. Before Lothric was born, he served as a knight for the Kingdom. He even went so far as to defeat the Demon Prince, and that is why his sword is permanently enveloped in flames. When his little brother was born, he turned out to be deformed and sickly; these defects are explained because his parents, King Oceiros and the Queen (it is not known who he is, although the hypothesis that is Gwynevere is very solid), resorted to infamous means to get the perfect heir to link the First Flame. Lorian decided to share the curse of his brother, in such a way that their souls are connected; and Lorian, for sharing this burden, remained silent and invalid. These princes did not want to link the First Flame because the First Scholar, who was their private tutor, convinced them that the legacy of the Lords of the Ash, the Link of Fire, was not a good option. The identity of this First Scholar is unknown, although it is most likely that he is the Pontiff Sulyvahn, a key character in the Lore of Dark Souls 3. Ludleth Finally, we have Ludleth, the Exile. This is the only Lord of the Ash who has not abandoned his throne. This man was a King who neglected his lands to devote himself to the study of the Transposition of Souls, a forbidden art in his Kingdom, Courland. Edited March 25, 2019 by -Dark* Closed
