Of the many benefits resulting from carrying out healthy habits, one of the most important is to promote the prevention of eating disorders and obesity. The fact that in recent years have increased both the cases of these disorders has made it necessary to investigate solutions to reduce and prevent the incidence of these disorders. The conclusion of the different investigations is very clear: making healthy eating habits and doing physical activity are the most efficient guidelines when it comes to fighting against eating disorders and obesity. Feeding Food is an important part of our life. Through food we obtain nutrients to have energy to live. But, in addition to being a biological process, food is also an emotional and social process. Food and emotions are connected, so a good diet should be pleasant. And, often, the feeding occurs in a social context, of celebration, for example, or of familiar routine, like having dinner together. So we must take into account that a good diet comprises three aspects: biological, emotional and social. What is a healthy eating habit? To make a healthy eating habit it is advisable to carry out a diet: Varied, that includes different foods in order to obtain all the nutrients that we need. The nutrients are divided into 5 groups: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. But no food contains them all, that is why it is very important to make a varied diet. Enough, because it must contain the amount necessary to meet the body's demand for nutrients. Adapted The feeding must apathy to the needs of each person. For example, a teenager and an older person have different nutritional needs. An athlete needs more calories than a person who works sitting in a chair in front of a computer.
