Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 The Audi A7 Sportback is a tourism of almost five meters in length and a different design from a traditional luxury saloon given that the body has five doors instead of four. It is for sale from 64 230 euros. There are two versions of gasoline -45 TFSI and 55 TFSI, with 245 hp and 340 hp respectively- and three Diesel -40 TDI, 45 TDI and 50 TDI with 204, 231 and 286 hp respectively-. All have automatic transmission, which according to the version can be double clutch (S tronic) or torque converter (tiptronic). The A7 Sportback 45 TFSI and 40 TDI have traction on the front wheels and, optionally, all four. The other versions are always all-wheel drive. The engines of the 45 TFSI and 40 TDI have four cylinders placed in line and 2.0 liters of displacement. The others have six cylinders placed in uve and 3.0 liters of displacement. In this file we compare the two gasoline engines and in this other the three Diesel. The A7 Sportback 55 TFSI, 50 TDI and 45 TDI have two electrical networks: one of 12 volts and another of 48. The latter is connected to an electric machine that acts as a starter and generator and with a battery (of 0 , 48 kWh capacity). This system is designed to reduce consumption since it allows the engine to be switched off at certain times. In addition, thanks to him these versions have the environmental label Eco of the DGT. Despite its similar appearance, it does not share the platform with the A7 that Audi launched in 2010 and that it renewed in 2014 . The Audi A7 Sportback 2018 is a completely new model. What most distinguishes this second generation is the amount of driving assistance elements that it can have. By body type, the most similar alternatives are the Aston Martin Rapide S, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo and the Porsche Panamera. The Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupé, although it has four doors, also competes directly with the A7. In this comparative tab - with all these models, except the Aston Martin that has a price much higher than the rest - you can see the price of gasoline versions similar to 55 TFSI, with all-wheel drive, its technical characteristics and equipment. The Audi costs more than the 6 Series Gran Turismo and the CLS Coupé and much less than the Panamera. The A7 Sportback is a recommendable model to travel for the comfort that is in a wide sense: the suspension filters well, the seats are comfortable (and can have air conditioning and massage), the noise level is low and the assistants to the conduction They work well and facilitate this task. And it can also be done quickly because of its stability and how easy it is to guide at that pace It is possible to choose between a configuration of five seats (Audi refers to the rear as 2 + 1, because, effectively, the central is for a hurry) or four with two individual rear seats. But if you want to travel in the rear seats there are other models, with the classic body of a sedan, which are preferable because they have more space in the rear seats and its occupants can enjoy elements that make travel more enjoyable. They are the long-battle versions of the Audi A8, the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Lexus LS. The A7 Sportback can have almost everything that can be mounted on the A8 since the basic structure is similar. There are options to modify its dynamic qualities - steering on the rear wheels, three types of optional suspension (sporty, of variable hardness dampers and of pneumatic springs with variable hardness dampers, more information in the technical section) and a self-locking rear differential of active type-. The exception is the active suspension called Audi AI. The dashboard also has the same elements (a main screen, optional, for instrumentation and two secondary) but a somewhat different design (image of the dashboard of A7 Sportback and the A8). The headlights are always LED, but the series can be replaced by a matrix lighting-called HD Matrix LED; € 1641 - that create shaded areas so as not to disturb other drivers while maintaining the maximum possible lighting in the rest of their lighting field; or others -HD Matrix LED with laser; € 2710 - which, in addition, have laser diodes for the long lights (they illuminate further). The pilots, also of LED technology, are linked by a band that lights up. The light system, front and rear, makes a striking light sequences when locking or unlocking the doors. There are two multimedia systems available, both with a browser. The standard -MMI navigation- and the optional -MMI Navigation Plus- (which gives more performance, has a 10.1-inch screen instead of 8.8 and which also includes the virtual cockpit, which is like Audi calls the screen that acts as the instrument panel). You can also choose two optional sound equipment, both developed by Bang & Olufsen. Other possible options are a four zone air conditioner that ionizes the air and has an air freshener, an openable glass roof or windshield wipers that expel the water directly on the windshield.
