Warlock-
The revolution of virtual reality has been a bit short, and although there are certainly interesting platforms and projects, the segment has not finished coalescing between developers and users. That has caused Microsoft itself to discard virtual reality on the Xbox One. In an interview with Gamesindustry.biz one of the company's executives has indicated that "we do not have specific plans in relation to Xbox consoles and virtual reality or the mixed reality ". Virtual and mixed reality stay on the PC The movement is unique, especially after the bet that Sony rivals did with PlayStation VR, a platform that offered a comfortable option - but according to our analysis, far from perfect - for the owners of the PS4. In this recent E3 have hardly offered any news in this field, and although Microsoft is strongly in this field with its mixed reality, it does not seem that these solutions will be compatible or usable in the Xbox One. This is what Mike Nichols, Microsoft's Chief Marketing Officer for the entertainment division, explained, saying that the PC "is probably the best platform" for virtual and mixed reality, while on the Xbox "our focus is on experiences that you play on television. " It seemed that consoles such as the powerful Xbox One X could pose an option in this area, and despite the comments that for the past two years had come from Microsoft officials, that potential interest has now faded. The comments certainly do not close the door to the arrival of a virtual reality platform to your console, but it seems that it will not be for the Xbox One.
