During the event SXSW 2019 in the United States, the head of the Sonic Team has announced that his team is already working on the next great game of the Sonic saga, although the Japanese creative has not provided more details on this new title. Takashi Iizuka has simply confirmed that his team is working on a new video game from Sonic the Hedgehog, which could well continue the action shown with Sonic Forces, the latest work of the study related to this franchise that was put on sale at the end of 2017 . In that same talk, the Japanese creative wanted to thank the fans for their constant support to a brand that a few years ago commemorated its 25 years of history. Will they bet on a 3D game or will they follow the path of the great Sonic Mania? It remains to wait to know more details about this project. Sega is already working on the next great Sonic the Hedgehog videogame
