The first, called SOS Venezuela, called on Venezuelans who support the government of the president in charge Juan Guaidó and the policies of the United States in favor of Venezuela. The objective was also to denounce the humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is going through and to demand the entry of humanitarian aid to the Latin American country. The march, which started at 10:30 in the morning, took place nearby in the White House. A few meters away, the second mobilization was concentrated, Hands off Venezuela, where a group of people from different organizations denounced the intervention of the United States in that country. It started at 12 noon, in front of the White House, right in Lafayette Park; Later, the march went to the Donald Trump Hotel, on Pennsylvania Avenue, in Washington. In Venezuela, protesters also took to the streets to support both opposition leader Juan Guaidó and incumbent president Nicolás Maduro.
