The renowned professor Alberto Cirigliano of UNCuyo passed away

The Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National University of Cuyo fired professor Alberto Cirigliano, who died on Thursday. He graduated in Sociology and is a full professor of the Chair in Cinematographic Communication of the career of Social Communication in the house of studies.

He also founded the Laboratory of Scientific and Social Cinema, where he specialized, together with Luis Triviño, in anthropological cinema, his specialty. One of his most memorable productions is "Lo malcomunado y el biencomunado", where he told the story of the relationship between the National University of Cuyo and Barrio Flores.

He also served as vice-dean of the FCPyS and held the post of extension secretary for two periods. It is considered a great reference both in the career of Sociology and in Social Communication, for its strong critical and social imprint
