France said it would recognize Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó as interim ruler if Nicolás Maduro does not announce Sunday night that there will be presidential elections. "I just had a very good phone conversation with President @jguaido," Kurz wrote on Twitter. "He has our full support to restore democracy in Venezuela."
