yakuza 6: The Song of Life is an action RPG developed and distributed by Sega, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.1 console. It is the seventh title of the main Yakuza videogame saga. It was initially launched in Japan on December 8, 2016,2 and later internationally on April 17, 2018

Gameplay
Yakuza 6 is an action and adventure videogame with elements of role, set in an open world and played from a third person perspective. Similar to previous titles of the saga, the game mixes combat and exploration sections in an environment with multiple activities to perform. The story is set in the fictional cities of Kamurocho and Onomichi, and stars Kazuma Kiryu, the main character in the saga.

Developing
Yakuza 6 was announced on September 15, 2015 at the Tokyo Game Show during the Sony conference, as an exclusive video game for the PlayStation 4 console and with a release date in Japan at the end of 2016.5 At that time, the creator of the saga Toshihiro Nagoshi, announced that more details would be revealed about it during the rest of the event.6 It was reported that the renowned actor and director Takeshi Kitano, would play a character in the game.7 The video game would also have the presence of Professional wrestlers of the New Japan Pro Wrestling, such as Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Kazuchika Okada, Satoshi Kojima, Tetsuya Naito and Toru Yano.8 The titles Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Puyo will also be included as mini-games. Puyo, Out Run, Super Hang-On, Space Harrier and Fantasy Zone.
