BlizzCon announced during the BlizzCon event that he intends to turn StarCraft 2 into a free game starting from November 14, giving PC owners the chance to play the free version of the story of Wings of Liberty and upgrade their rating. And raise their ranking in the ranking ladder in the Internet and to do so they have to earn 10 First Wins of the Day in Unranked or Versus AI play styles. The players will have all current and future leaders free to play up to the fifth level. For those who have purchased StarCraft II before, they can get a free Heart of the Swarm, but there is a requirement for them to sign in between 8 November and 8 Dec.
