Inkriql Posted January 9, 2019 Share Posted January 9, 2019 A 2-year-old Spanish girl was rescued today at the Cancun International Airport when her captor was trying to transfer her to Turkey, the Federal Police of Mexico said today. According to the information of the agents, the girl was kidnapped in the beach resort of Tulum and thanks to an "intense security device" they were able to rescue her in terminal 4 of the airport of Cancun, Mexican Caribbean, before boarding a flight to Istanbul, reported the Spanish agency EFE. The agents, assigned to the international terminal, complied with the collaboration document for the search and location of the minor referred to as M. K., of Spanish nationality, who was taken from her home in the town of Tulum, about 130 kilometers from Cancún. At the time of being located the girl was in the company of a woman of Filipino nationality, whom the Police identified as E. R., and had two plane tickets with final destination to Istanbul, previous stopover in Madrid. After the corresponding procedures, the girl was handed over to her mother and the woman who wanted to take her was referred to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the municipality of Tulum.
