The Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, showed in the social network Twitter the two notifications sent to the Venezuelan Government, one from the Brazilian embassy in the country and another from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the neighboring country. In another message, Arreaza said that President Maduro did not consider attending such an event, and showed the response sent by the Government to Brazil. "President Nicolas Maduro never considered attending a government like that of Jair Bolsonaro, this is the firm official response that we sent to Ernesto Faraujo through the Foreign Ministry of Brazil on December 12," said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister. . "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil is informed that the Socialist, Revolutionary and Free Government of Venezuela will never attend the inauguration of a president that is the expression of intolerance, of fascism and of the surrender of interests contrary to the Latin American and Caribbean integration ", the communication refers.
