KIA Forte 2019 presents itself

The Forte, a sedan of the C segment that is completely renewed and arrives with the intention of denting the crown to the leader of that segment, the one desired by many VW Jetta.

Before entering the field we know a little about the history of Forte, which is already in its fourth generation, but in our country we know it since the third generation, which was unveiled in 2013, but that came to our country as a 2016 model in two. conformations -Sedán four-door or Hatchback-

 

The fourth generation of the Forte, which for now has only unveiled the sedan version of three bodies will be manufactured in its country of origin: Korea and also in the plant that KIA has in the state of Nuevo León, in the municipality of Pesquería and is designed by Peter Schreyer, this famous German designer -producer of Audi and VW- that has been collaborating with KIA for some years and that has given the brand a much more artistic and refined appearance by cataloging it in some way.

Let's talk about the 2019 model
It will be presented in six versions, all with the same engine, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, with ATKINSON cycle, which theoretically consumes less fuel than the Forte already uses since the 2018 model of the outgoing generation, which generates 147 hp, in the range of 6,200 rpm and the torque force is 132 lb.-ft. at 4,500 laps, and with two transmission options, the traditional six-speed gearbox or the IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission) which is nothing more than a CVT (Continuously variable) but second generation box, which gives the driver a better driving feeling. The front suspension is McPherson and the rear suspension is a torsion bar axle

It has ABS brakes and electronic stability and traction controls, as well as six airbags.

 

The interiors

It is an application that the user downloads on his smartphone, with this "app" the user has two options in his phone for consultation, one is KIA LINK detects everything that happens to the car since it is turned on until the engine, with accurate readings thanks to a telematics device, ie everything that appears on the information screen located on the dashboard, will be reflected on the phone screen, even remotely.

Another function of MyKIA + is called Find My KIA (Find My KIA) which is a satellite locator (via GPS) and by contracting a cell phone data package, the user can locate in real time the location of your vehicle or establish a "GeoCerca" that informs where the vehicle is located (initially the Forte 2019 models will provide these location and telematics functions at no cost) and with the passing of the months it will be extended to the entire range of models with a cost, not yet defined, but we speculate will be around 8,000 thousand pesos.
