UNIT / LEADER.- After defining the title of the Closing Tournament of the Professional League of Venezuelan Soccer (Liga Futve) won by Deportivo Lara, the teams qualified for the Copa Conmebol Libertadores and Sudamericana 2019, respectively, were defined.

The Apertura champion, Zamora Fútbol Club, qualified for the group stage of the Libertadores thanks to the title achieved in the first half of the year, where he defeated the Mineros de Guayana in the final, who agreed to the Suramericana to stay with the runner-up.

Meanwhile, Lara will go to his third Copa Libertadores for proclaiming Clausura champion. Unlike the Apertura, the Clausura sub-champion does not get a ticket to any international competition.

Despite this, the runner-up of the Clausura, Deportivo La Guaira, will play its first Libertadores due to its location in the accumulated table of the campaign, in which it was placed in the second place tied with Caracas with 58 points. The oranges will have to dispute three previous phases to advance to the group stage.

The other team that advanced to Libertadores was the Caracas Fútbol Club. Those led by Noel Sanvicente, will attend its sixteenth participation via accumulated table. To continue in the race, the "Reds of the Ávila" will dispute two previous phases.

For its part, the Zulia Football Club will participate in the South American, after staying with the Venezuela Cup, which won the Aragua final. The other teams that will attend the second most important football tournament in the region will be Estudiantes de Mérida and Monagas Sports Club, by maintaining a good position in the Accumulated.
