Your Problem: I have a problem with Auto-Connect in Cs,How can i remove it ?

Hello Flexxme!
If you wanna solve this problem there is a really easy way.
you should delete all unknown Configs (Cfgs) in Your Cs Folder (Cstrike) and will solve.
if its solved but happened again after Few days you should use "Free viewer" to edit that unknown configs! and remove the text like this "Connect SERVERIP" from them. also don't forget to save changes!

To me also happened a very short time ago Well it all started as a normal day, start the Counter and I started to play. After a while I decided to enter a server of little confidence but equal between; I started to download some things and I did not give much importance, I played 10 or 15 minutes then I left. After a while when I returned to play I found a surprise, above the button "New Game" had another button with the name of the server = O, I did not give importance because I had already spent several times in the other PC but never gave me error I do not bother at all.
When I wanted to give "Find Server" to play with some friends I found myself sending me the server that I installed the button, then when I gave "New Game" the same thing happened. I read a little and they told me that the solution was reinstalling, I did everything right, but when I modified something, the same button appeared. I did the same thing about 7 times until I found another answer, this was to edit a file from the counter menu and as expected, it did not work either. Another answer I read was that he restored the system, but I had no point of restoration: S. Bueh and when I was about to throw in the towel I found the answer without reading anywhere, I just started to give coconut to the issue and found out how that worked.
I realized that the button is installed as soon as something is modified in the folder that was installed for the first time. Let me explain, by default it is installed in ? Program FilesCounter Strike 1.6 (in mine it is like that). So for that reason when I reinstalled the game was reinstalled in that same site and apparently the button was installed by touching that folder, that's where I found the solution.

How do I solve it?

Very, very easy. The only thing you have to do is create a new folder in ? Program files with the name you want, I create it with the name of Cs 1.6 (I repeat, you can do it with whatever you want) and inside that folder you install the Cs. The location should be like this: ? Program files (the name you put the folder) Counter Strike 1.6. And ready!

Simple, no?

Hey flexxme i know this problem and for me when it joined i pressed on cancel and i join my own server but if you really search for a solution you can reinstall your cs

But first uninstall it from control panel then install it 

And all things will be good you will choose the server you want 

You know that its not a big problem

first try to remove configue from cs fille and try install it again if that doesnt work try to remove cs and install it again !

or simple u can follow this video to solve ur problem !

cuz its a virus installed by plugin from server so just remove the ads from cs fille like this video here :
