According to the game’s, Warcraft III: Reforged is a complete reimagining of the real-time strategy classic. It’s an epic series of origin stories of Warcraft, with reworked, vivid recreations of every hero, unit, building, and environment with 4K support. There will be over 62 missions spanning the game’s continents. You can play as four races, each with different units, abilities, strategies and champions. There will also be player-created games, including MOBAs, tower defense, and more.

Blizzard promises the remaster will let players relieve the events of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne. It will be an upgraded experience, with modern multiplayer matchmaking, custom game lobbies, and connecting through Battle.net. Improvements to the game’s user interface and other quality-of-life improvements have been made as well. Gameplay has been rebalanced to change heroes, units and buildings to better modernize the game.Blizzard announced a special Spoils of War Edition of the game, which unlocks rewards in other Blizzard games. This includes a Meat Wagon Mount in World of Warcraft, the Third War Card for Hearthstone (available the week of November fifth), four Warcraft Heroes for Heroes of the Storm, and more.
