Instagram has announced that it will fight against the fraudulent activity, and from now on it will take measures to eliminate the false likes and followers that many accounts use to artificially increase their audience.

The photographic social network has become an interesting source of income for those people who have the support of thousands of followers, since brands consider them influencers and sign contracts with them to promote their products through their publications.

Due to this, in recent years fraudulent systems have emerged to increase the number of followers on Instagram or increase the number of likes of publications, which allow any person, after paying a certain amount of money, to grow their audience in an artificial way with the aim of getting advertising contracts.
Now, the social network has published in its blog a statement in which it indicates that it has observed that there are accounts that use third-party applications to increase their followers or likes, and that from today it will begin to take energetic measures against this practice.

According to the report, the platform will erase followers, comments and likes to the accounts that use these third-party apps to increase their po[CENSORED]rity. It will do so thanks to machine learning tools, capable of identifying users who use these services to eliminate non-authentic activity.

Accounts that use applications to increase their po[CENSORED]rity in Instagram fraudulently will receive a message like the one you can see in the image above these lines, which will warn them that they will proceed to eliminate the false activity and ask them to change the password, since many of these services use the data of the accounts that hire them to generate fraudulent activity.

"These new measures will continue, and accounts that continue to use third-party applications to increase their audience may be affected their experience with Instagram," says the company.
