With this victory, the team led by Pedro Troglio will face River for the semifinals of the Copa Argentina. The match had ended 1 to 1 at the end of the ninety minutes of regulation. At 2 minutes of the second half, Alfredo Romero opened the account for the team from Santiago and at 38 the same period, the Venezuelan Jan Hurtado equalized for the team from La Plata. In the series of penalties, Ezequiel Barrionuevo, Hugo Oviedo and Emanuel Romero scored for Central Córdoba, while Javier Rossi crashed his shot in the crossbar and Renzo Pérez shot wide.
