Caracas.- Cardinals of Lara strengthened in a good debut of the opener Néstor Molina and in the domain of his bullpen to whiten 2-0 to Caribes de Anzoátegui, in the second match of the double billboard that was disputed this Monday in the Antonio Stadium Herrera Gutiérrez de Barquisimeto.

A duel of pitching was experienced in the twilight park because only eight indisputable could connect between both novenas. The timely batting was, without doubt, what defined the commitment.

Cardinals took a step forward in the first inning with a shot to the initial José Castillo that allowed Ildemaro Vargas to step on the home, with the first hairline of the game. Later, Alejandro De Aza opened the third episode with unstoppable and, eventually, he would score the second race of the locals after wild pitcher pitcher Liarvis Breto.

Luis Lugo, who helped Molina get the last out of the fourth inning and stayed on the mound for one more episode, credited the first victory of the season and left his ERA at 0.69. Ryan Kelly retired without major problems the last episode of Caribs to add his seventh rescue.

For his part, the indigenous opener Oddanier Mosqueda charged with the reverse, allowing a hit and a run in just two thirds of innings, in which he gave away pair of tickets and left his career average at 8.31.

Cardinals seems to have overcome the hesitation of last week, when he suffered three consecutive losses, as they end up adding three laurels in the series to four commitments he faced against the Indians and with a record of 14-8 tied the Leones del Caracas in the first place of the table of positions.

FROM THE GROUND
Caribes continues to suffer significant losses ahead of this fifth week of action, as René Reyes and Erick Castillo have leg problems since Saturday and, like Alexis Amarista, will remain under medical observation and outside the lineup for the upcoming matches.

IN FIGURES
In general the offense of the Cardinals has suffered a downturn in recent days, but the imported Alejandro De Aza remains one of the most dangerous hitters in the tournament. The Dominican has doubled in each of the five commitments that the Larenses have played in this beginning of November and is hitting .398 with an OPS of 1.012.
