One of them is through the configuration page of Windows 10. To do this, we open the page and from the System option, we select the menu option About. Next, in the right panel of the configuration page we will see the specifications of our PC and the Windows ones. There we can see the edition, the version of Windows installed, the date of installation or update, etc

From the old Control Panel we can also know the edition of Windows 10 that we have, as well as the type of system and the product ID. To do this, simply open the control panel and navigate to the option Control Panel \ System and Security \ System.

But perhaps, the most interesting option is to execute the winver command from a Windows 10 Run window. Press the Win + R key combination, type winver and press Enter. This will open a window where we can see what version of Windows 10 we have installed on the computer next to the compilation number and Windows edition we have, if it is Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education, etc.

Differences between Windows 32 and 64 bits and how to know if we can install 64-bit Windows on our PC
In addition to the version of Windows that we have installed, as we have said, we can also see if we have 32-bit Windows or 64-bit Windows. The first question that will surely arise to many users is what does it mean that Windows is 32 or 64 bits and what are the differences?

The truth is that every time there are fewer computers that use 32-bit Windows, because if we have or buy a PC with 4 GB or more of RAM, it is normal to come pre-installed Windows 64-bit. The main difference between Windows 32-bit and Windows 64-bit is the way in which the processor of a computer manages the information. The 64-bit version of Windows manages more random access memory, RAM, more efficiently than the 32-bit version.

Windows 32 bits is limited to use a maximum of 3.25 GB of RAM, therefore, if we have more memory we can not take advantage of it. Therefore, this version is focused for older computers that have 1 or 2 GB of RAM inside. This version of 32 bits occupies less space in our disc than the one of 64 bits, since this last one counts on greater number of bookstores.

First of all, as we have said before, we have 4 GB or more RAM in the computer, but we also need to have a processor capable of running a 64-bit system.
