The Leones del Caracas are ready to start, this Tuesday, the fourth week of the 2018-2019 championship of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League and will make two modifications to the weekly roster.

The big league José Rondón received medical discharge from the White Sox of Chicago and tomorrow will be available to the hairy technical staff to make his debut in the match against the Navegantes del Magallanes.

"I'm ready to play," Rondón said after receiving the green light from his MLB organization. "I come to give everything on the field and I am available to play in any position that the manager needs me," he said.

"We are happy to know that he has successfully completed his rehabilitation and his presence will give us more depth in the lineup," said José Manuel Fernández, sports manager of the hairy ones. "With the arrival of Rondón, before finishing the month of October, we have the three players who arrived via change in the offseason, as planned at that time," he said.

For his part, the Dominican Luis Isaias Tejeda arrived in the country today and from tomorrow will be under the command of manager Mike Rojas.

"Tejeda is ready because he was practicing with his team (Águilas Cibaeñas) in the Dominican Republic. He is very excited to be part of the Lions and we hope he can bat in this league as he did last year, "added Fernandez.

To open space for both players, the pitcher Norwith Gudiño and the infielder Eddie Hernández will leave the roster. Lions had an import quota opened after the departure of Manny Correa last week.

In addition, manager Mike Rojas defined the rotation of the team for the week with Luis Diaz at the head as the opener of the classic between the eternal rivals tomorrow in Valencia.

The imported Adalberto Flores will follow him on the mound on Thursday and Friday will be Anthony Marzi. For the tour in Maracaibo over the weekend the openers will be Dylan Unsworth and Albert Suárez.
