Toyota Yaris Sedan 2018 debuts

Toyota presents in Mexico the new Toyota Yaris Sedan 2018, which, along with Prius C and CH-R is part of the latest reinforcements in the lineup of the brand. Like the last model, this car is imported from Thailand, a market where it is marketed under the name of Yaris Ativ.

Aesthetically, this model is in tune with the latest releases of the brand, which is why we find a strong family with the Corolla. Unlike the extreme simplicity of the last model, the Yaris Sedan 2018 already boasts elements such as daytime running lights and LED skulls.

This car not only has novelties in the outside, since regarding safety, it emphasizes when incorporating elements like brakes with ABS, frontal airbags, anchorage for ISOFIX child seats, as well as control of traction and stability. Concerning comfort, we find Bluetooth connection, USB ports and electric crystals. The Core versions mount a simple audio equipment, while the "S" finish with manual box already has a 6.1-inch touch screen. On the other hand, the most equipped version ("S" CVT) is 7 "with Mirror Link and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Regarding the mechanical section, the new Toyota Yaris Sedan is driven by the well known 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 107 hp and 104 lb-ft with chain distribution, which can be coupled with a five-speed manual transmission or automatic CVT with seven simulated changes.
