According to Infante, the result obtained in Buenos Aires 2018 will mark a before and after in Venezuelan sport and will reinforce the route for the Olympic Summer Games of Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. On the last day, Brazil thrashed Russia 4-1 in the men's indoor soccer final and won the gold medal. Russia was champion of Buenos Aires 2018 with 28 gold, 18 silver and 12 bronze escorted by China (18-9-9) and Japan (15-12-12).
