Windows 10

The first cumulative update for Windows 10 launched after the controversial and big update in October, is causing more problems than expected with many users who are complaining about loss of sound on your computer and also the blue screen of death.

And is that all users who have an HP computer do not win for displeasure after the latest updates of Windows 10, since they are appearing problems such as the blue screen that requires restart or even the loss of all sound on your computer.

In any case most of the complaints point to the audio drivers of Intel, which after the last cumulative update stop working. The majority of those affected are people with HP computers, although some with Asus are also reporting problems.

And after installing the cumulative update KB4464330, problems with these computers do not stop happening. While problems with file loss and deletion have already been reported, now the October update continues to give problems with successive updates.

Notwithstanding the computer with which we are currently writing this news, it has been affected by this cumulative update depriving it of all sound. In our case, it has been impossible to implement the latest HP drivers to get the sound back to us. For this we have chosen to install old drivers a year ago for the same computer so that the sound returns to normal.

It is expected that Microsoft launches next week another cumulative update to solve this problem with HP and Asus computers, both in terms of sound and the blue screen mentioned. From Microsoft are aware of the problem and advise to manually delete the corrupt driver (something not simple at the user level) or wait for another update.
