- !el Catire *O* Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Caracas.- Manager Oswaldo Guillén knew that Anthony Lerew, Jonathan Albaladejo and David Kubiak were going to be the first three starters of the Tiburones de La Guaira season. The problem was that they had to be sorted. First he had to keep weighing possibilities. After the last practice of the preseason the sequence was confirmed, and is the same as the pilot had outlined days ago: Lerew will go against the Leones del Caracas, this Friday, on the opening day of the campaign. The duel will be at 1:00 pm, at the University Stadium, and the hairy ones will have Luis Díaz as the initiator. Lerew has beautiful memories against the capital; he gave him a no hit no run in 2010, when he came to Venezuela for the first time and defended the Navegantes del Magallanes. He was the first imported to report to the salty workouts, therefore, he has the most preparation time with the team among the three foreigners. According to the escualo press department, the second in the rotation will be the Puerto Rican Albaladejo (against Leones, on Saturday) and the third Kubiak (against the Cardinals, on Sunday). La Guaira will have Monday free, but on Tuesday it will go against the Caribes de Anzoátegui, in Caracas. There is nothing defined yet, but Guillen discusses the possibility of giving the ball to Gustavo Armas, prospect of the Philadelphia Phillies. 1
