A communiqué issued by the Foreign Ministry of the country states that the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela issued its most heartfelt words of solidarity to the people and Government of Haiti, after the telluric movement of magnitude 5.9, recorded on the night of Saturday, October 6. whose epicenter was located 20 kilometers north of Port-de-Paix and 175 kilometers from Port-au-Prince, its capital.

"The Bolivarian People and Government, extend their deepest condolences to Haitian families affected by this unfortunate tragedy, to whom we offer our unwavering support at this difficult time," reads part of the letter.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, on behalf of the People and Government of Venezuela, expresses his most heartfelt words of solidarity to the People and Government of Haiti, for the effects of the magnitude 5.9 earthquake recorded on Saturday night 06 of October and whose epicenter was located 20 Kilometers north of Port-de-Paix and 175 Kilometers from Port-au-Prince, its capital.

The Bolivarian People and Government, extend their deepest condolences to Haitian families affected by this unfortunate tragedy, to whom we offer our unwavering support at this difficult time.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, provides the occasion to reiterate its unconditional support for the People and Government of the Republic of Haiti, and wishes to emphasize that, in situations like these, the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity that unite our Peoples will prevail .
