Pixel Slate

At this rate, Google will not have anything to submit next October 9. We already know absolutely everything about Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, and it seems that it will happen the same as your new tablet or 2 in 1 Google Pixel Slate. Today new photos and definitive data have been revealed.

Pixel Slate will be a tablet with removable keyboard that will work with Chrome OS. It will allow you to use a capacitive pen and presumably use a low-power processor, at a set price.

The Google Pixel Slate tablet will compete directly with the Surface Pro 6 or the Microsoft Surface Go, according to all indications. Here you can see a front, back, side image, and the new dark blue pencil, to match the new design of the tablet.

The photos confirm the use of Chrome OS, although that does not eliminate the rumor that could include a dual boot with Chrome OS and Windows 10. It would be a good punch of Google, it would go a step further than its po[CENSORED]r Chromebooks.

The home screen is different from the Chromebook with current Chrome OS, so it will surely bring a new version of Chrome OS based on Android 9 to be announced along with the tablet.

Examining the image you can identify a USB Type C connector, stereo speakers, front and rear camera, and a power button that could include a fingerprint reader.

Perhaps the most striking aspect is the keyboard. It is removable and also serves as a cover to protect the laptop / tablet / 2 in 1, or whatever you want to call it:

They emphasize, above all, the peculiar round keys, which are not usually very common in the tablet or laptop keyboards, It also includes a Touchpad:

As for the hardware, according to data from the Geekbench benchmark, there will be four different models.

The most basic variant would have an Intel Celeron 3965Y processor of 7th generation at 1.5 GHz along with 8 GB of RAM. The second version would be equipped with an Intel Core m3-8100Y 8th generation processor with a base frequency of 1.1 GHz and 3.4 GHz Turbo, which also with 8 GB of RAM.

Third, we would have a model with Intel Core i5-8200Y 8th generation processor with a base frequency of 1.3 GHz and Turbo 3.9 GHz, along with 8 GB of RAM. Finally, the most advanced model would be equipped with an Intel Core i7-8500Y 8th generation processor with a base frequency of 1.5 GHz and 4.2 GHz Turbo, accompanied in this case by 16 GB of RAM.

By using Chrome OS you can run Chrome apps, and Android apps.

We have yet to confirm the price and the release date. We will know on October 9, date of the presentation of the Google Pixel Slate tablet. At ComputerHoy.com we will tell you live.
