Honor presented a few minutes ago in Madrid the new Honor 8X, its new smartphone designed for the youngest, which affects the characteristics that interest millennials: good screen, better cameras, battery that lasts all day, and price below of € 300. The first thing that catches the attention of the Honor 8X is its huge infinite screen 6.5 inches and 1080p resolution. With 85% colors of the NTSC range, and 19.5: 9 ratio. It eliminates the frames of the Honor 7X, but maintains the notch, since it incorporates facial recognition. Still, it has an extraordinary 91% screen ratio.

It also has an Eye Comfort mode that reduces eyestrain. With anti-glare technology and Night mode.

 

Its blue glass casing, already a hallmark of Honor's mobiles, is really elegant. And it is only 4.25 mm wide at the bottom edge. Lacking edges on the screen its size is equivalent to a 5.5-inch mobile.

The new Honor 8X mounts a Kirin 710 processor with 12nm technology, Cortex-A73 cores, and Mali G51 GPU. With a new GPU Turbo mode that accelerates performance at specific moments, more demanding.

The processor is 75% faster, and the GPU is 130% faster than the Honor 7X.

It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, expandable by micro SD card up to 256 GB.

The cameras

The camera for selfies is 16 MP and aperture f / 2.0. It has an improved ISO with respect to the Honor 7X, Beauty mode and Bokeh effect created by artificial intelligence.

Thanks to the new multi-frame technique, you can capture backlit photos without any glare.

The battery reaches 3,750 mAh, enough to withstand a day of intensive use, and even more. It also has NFC, dual band WiFi, Dual SIM, fingerprint sensor, facial recognition and headphone output.
It incorporates the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, with the EMUI 8.2 layer.
