The Brazilian striker was struck with the arm by Wylan Cyprien when both disputed a ball in the second half, in a party dominated by the leaders. Cyprien was sent off by a second yellow and Neymar was sitting for a while, blood spilling from his mouth. Neymar had scored the first of PSG with a jump from the edge of the area in the first half. The ball streaked past goalkeeper Walter Benitez before he could react and nested in the right corner. That was enough to give the leaders their eighth straight win, but Christopher Nkunku and again Neymar added to the score. With seven goals in the campaign, Neymar has one more than Marseille striker Florian Thauvin in the scorers' table. Later, Lyon looked to beat Nantes at home and regain second place.
