Blexfraptor Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 José Ascanio, Luis Días, Juan Carlos Gutiérrez, Jesús Guzmán, Franklin Morales, and Gabriel Bracamonte led the group of Lions PRESS RELEASE | CARACAS.- The Leones del Caracas started the preseason with 21 players at the Estadio Universitario on Monday to begin their preparation for the 2018-2019 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. José Ascanio, Luis Dias, Juan Carlos Gutierrez, Jesus Guzman, Franklin Morales, and Gabriel Bracamonte led the group of players who made the first preparation work, led by manager Mike Rojas and most of his coaching staff. The day began with the usual welcome speech from the board and the coaching staff towards the players. Subsequently, the group of 21 players, mostly pitchers. The practice was divided into two groups, pitchers and position players. The pitchers released their arms in the University's gardens under the supervision of pitching coach Greg Sabat and bullpen coach Kelvin Monsalve, while the infielders took ground balls in the infield.
