Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 returns with triple camera and fingerprint reader

When the Galaxy A8 + was introduced it seemed that this would replace the Samsung Galaxy A7, but it has come back and equipped with three lenses in the back. What the rumors had been announcing for weeks, now confirmed by Samsung.

With this release, the South Korean company turns the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) as its first terminal with triple camera, which by its characteristics is in the middle range.

Like the Galaxy J6 Plus model, this new smartphone brings the fingerprint reader on the side. The 6-inch screen and Full HD + resolution is free of eyebrow or notch. And inside the eight-core processor is supported by a 3,300 mAh battery.

Triple Camera
The most notable novelty of the Galaxy A7 with which Samsung has wanted to draw attention, are the three lenses that are together on the back of the phone. This camera combines a 24MP lens that has an aperture of f / 1.7, which is followed by another 8MP wide-angle lens and f / 2.4 aperture and the last of 120-degree angle, 5MP and aperture f / 2.2.

The three lenses are in the upper left corner in an upright position. According to the company, the first two would be responsible for the adjustable defocus effect or, in other words, the bokeh effect, while the third one with its 120 degrees would capture the same angle of vision as the human being, making some photographs very similar to our own vision .

 

The 24MP lens is the one that carries more weight combining four pixels in one to get the best lighting. The same happens with the selfies in the front camera also of 24MP and its adjustable flash. Artificial intelligence would be the perfect support for the work of the three sensors, thanks to the intelligent scene optimizer.

We will have to wait to check the result of this triple combination.

Fingerprint reader
It is not the first time we see the fingerprint reader on the side of a smartphone, the Galaxy J6 Plus already incorporated it in the power button on the right edge and below the volume buttons. Thanks to this option, the rear part with the logo in the center and the group of three lenses and the flash in the corner are clear.


 

The rest of specifications are still to be detailed, inside the eight-core processor, according to the market would be Snapdragon or Exynos. The different versions range from 4 to 6GB of RAM and in the internal memory can have 64 or 128 GB, with the option to expand capacity with micro SD card. The battery would be 3,300 mAh and would have the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.

In addition to being the first Samsung with triple camera, the Galaxy A7 (2018) will be the first mid-range terminal of this brand that has the Bixby button.

Compatibility with NFC also depends on where it is sold. And nothing has been detailed about prices.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) will be available in Europe this fall, and on October 11 the company will hold an event to present another device that according to the rumors will have a quad camera in the back.
