Delay of the iPhone XC, details of the iPad Pro 2018 and other predictions

Ming-Chi Kuo, the po[CENSORED]r TF Securities analyst specializing in Apple, has published a new report with his estimates related to the products of the Cupertino company. In the document talks about the iPhone XC or Xr, the new iPad Pro, the Apple Watch Series 4, the rumored cheap MacBook and the AirPods 2. Here we summarize your predictions.

When it comes to the iPhone XC or Xr, the iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD screen that Apple is expected to show tomorrow, Kuo points out that its launch may be delayed. Instead of reaching the market in late September as the iPhone Xs, it is expected to do so in October, because there have been some quality problems with the assembly.

As for the new iPad Pro 2018, the analyst argues that the Lightning connector will be replaced by USB-C and that, as has been rumored, will include in the box an 18W power adapter to offer fast charging. Of course, says that this adapter will not come with the new iPhone.



 

Regarding what is expected for the Apple Watch Series 4, Kuo believes that all models will have ceramic backs and will stand out for their fine bevels and for having support for electrocardiography.

Another point of the analyst's report stops at the rumored cheap MacBook that Apple could launch this year. According to Kuo, the team will have Touch ID for fingerprint authentication, but will not have the full Touch Bar, which will remain exclusive to the MacBook Pro 13 and 15 inches of 2016 and later. In addition, notes that the goal of this laptop is to replace the current 12-inch MacBook.

Finally, Kuo also wanted to talk about the AirPods 2, which according to him could reach the market by the end of this 2018, and the AirPower wireless charging platform, which could also go on sale before the end of the year.
