The leader reiterated that the frustrated assassination against Maduro was backed by the US

N.- The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, condemned on Sunday that the United States government held meetings with military coup leaders to attempt against the president, Nicolás Maduro.

Cabello referred to the publication of The New York Times, in which they say that Trump government officials discussed a coup attempt against the Venezuelan leader.

"It is a document where imperialism, the government of the United States, recognizes having met with military coup leaders to carry out a coup in Venezuela," Cabello said.

Cabello said that in 20 years, the documents that make it clear that the US empire "killed Commander Hugo Chávez, I guarantee it, that's how it will be, because that's how the United States acts, has always been that way."

"Here there was an assassination in degree of frustration against Brother President Nicolás Maduro, led by imperialism, have no doubt, who can deny it at this time they have protected those who executed, those who financed the assassination. The United States is no stranger to anything that happens here, "said the leader.

Cabello also referred to the migration of young Venezuelans in recent years and described the event as a "fashion".

"They took a terrible fashion that seemed to give status: 'I have a son who left for Peru, my brother went to Colombia', it became a fad," he said.

He denied that there is a brain drain of professionals, since in his opinion the best have stayed in Venezuela.
"The best are here, fighting every day, working every day, not giving up even a moment," he said.

In his speech from Bolívar de la Carlota Park, where he participated in the installation of the III PSUV Youth Congress, Cabello reminded young people that the real enemy for peace in the world is the American empire.
