But for others, it is something worth celebrating because we will no longer need a second application or make a call or video call with the speaker on to record it. Skype announced that you can now record the conversations that are made through its platform. According to the Techradar portal, once the record call option is activated, all participants will be notified. And when it hangs up, the recording will be saved in the cloud for 30 days for download. According to the Skype statement, even the shared screens that are made during video calls will remain in the registry. In order to use this functionality it is necessary to have the latest version of the platform. How to record a video call? You can start recording at any time of the video call. In the lower right part of a conversation, a + icon will appear; then click on the Start recording option. At the top of the screen of all the participants of the conversation will appear a banner or small notice warning that the conversation is being recorded. At the end it will be saved in the cloud of each participant for 30 days. After this time it will be automatically deleted. The recording will be available in both the desktop and mobile versions. To record from a phone, during a call, at the bottom of the screen -to the center- the + icon appears. When you touch it, different options open between them, Start recording. The file with the recording of the video call can be downloaded or shared directly with other contacts within the platform. How to save the Skype conversation? When the video call is finished, the file will appear as an attachment in the conversation. In the upper right part of the image you can see three vertical points. With a click, the options will open: Save to download, Save as ..., Forward, Choose messages and Delete.
