G.O.G Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 At least 10 people have died and 24 more were injured in a new magnitude 6.9 earthquake that shook the island of Lombok in Indonesia late Sunday, said AVN. All the deaths were caused by the collapse of houses, because this natural disaster caused damage to 151 buildings. In addition, it has caused damage to infrastructure such as cracks in roads, landslides and power cuts. Hours before this shaking there was another tremor of 6.3 in which two other people were killed, one injured and 1,700 houses damaged, said the spokesman of the agency of disaster prevention BNPB, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho. On August 5, 417,000 people had to leave their homes due to the earthquake recorded that day of magnitude 6.9, in which 460 people died and some 72,000 buildings suffered damage. This is the fourth earthquake of magnitude greater than 6 in just three weeks in Lombok.
