The new Athletic de Berizzo opens today against Leganes de Pellegrino

Both teams will meet at San Mamés in the 1st round of the Santander League. The rojiblancos want to forget the bad season before.

 

The Athletic Club receives at the premiere league Leganés, today Monday at 22: 00h. The two teams will measure the new projects of two Argentine coaches, Eduardo Berizzo and Mauricio Pellegrino.

The Biscayan team wants to forget the bad season with a football that reminds Marcelo Bielsa, "crazy": offensive, risky, tireless and successful.

Pellegrino Leganés, however, wants to recover the strength he had in the five years with Asier Garitano, a technician from Lezama who has promoted the arrival in Leganés of many puppies of Athletic Club, relationship that still continues.

Berizzo is putting special emphasis on "attacking well" to avoid trouble in his risky 4-3-3, with Iker Muniain in the midfield of the offensive axis.

The Argentine coach has not wanted to give clues, but it seems he has eight players, with the only doubt of the location of Raul Garcia, if in midfield or in a band, and the central pair, by the injury of Iñigo Martínez.
