Athletic closes the preseason with a victory by the minimum (0-1)

Those of Berizzo prevail at Augsburg thanks to a goal by Unai López in the 72nd minute.

 

Athletic has ended its preseason with a victory against the German Augsburg.

It has been a match without too many occasions. In the first half, Beñat and Balenziaga have tried to pierce the rival goal with two shots that have been deflected by little. Remiro, on the other hand, has responded well to the German attempts.

In the second half, the changes introduced by Berizzo have given the team more life. Unai López has been one of those who has entered the field and his has been the only goal of the game, with a low shot at the exit of a corner.

The Athletic begins its journey in League next Monday, before the Leganés, in San Mamés (22:00 hours).
