We are all addicted to YouTube. When you started a three-minute clip, you do not even realize that the effectiveness of the suggestion algorithm behind the platform forces you to spend at least 30 minutes watching your favorite videos.

It's incredible how effective artificial intelligence can be when it wants to make you inefficient. Unfortunately for our free time, this is the direction we are heading for.

Soon, it will be just virtual assistants and automated systems designed to make you waste time and relax in the most enjoyable way for you.

If you enjoy the Mountain View giant's effort to please, it's very important not to ruin the effectiveness of that algorithm through a senseless view of a clip from a friend.

If someone makes you a bad joke and starts your hand I hunt you like in CS Glade from Edy Talent, the entire suggestion mechanism from YouTube is reset and for the next few months, even if you will not start any mana, you will have so many suggestions with Edy Talent that you will not be able to go anymore.

Finally, that's why you need to know how to enable incognito mode on YouTube. If you do not want to jeopardize the algorithm's efficiency and make your friends or your wife faint with a tricky recommendation, initiate a viewing session with the icognito mode turned on.

Unfortunately, the feature is currently only available on Android, but it should not take longer than a few weeks to reach the iPhone. Go to the YouTube app, make a right-click on your profile picture and start incognito mode.

Immediately, you will be faced with a warning telling you that what you are watching next will not be saved on any list. In addition, it will not influence the recommendations you'll see in the future because those clips will not remain associated with your account, nor will they appear in your history.

Once you have finished exploring, you can make a tap in the upper right corner of the incognito mode logo to return to your usual account.
