At the last press conference, LPF head Gino Iorgulescu made clear that he is not interested in the idea and that he would even want a smaller number of clubs. According to PRO Sport, Burleanu intends to propose to the Executive Committee meeting today to vote on a promotion-relegation system that will allow a quarter of the teams now in B to promote! Thus, 4 clubs would be directly involved, while 5th place would give the team a 6th barrage in the play-out next summer. The Federation may require the number of teams in L1 to increase, but LPF may challenge the decision in court. 2
