More updates from Italy today.

Chelsea have been in talks with Juventus over deals for two players - but not Gonzalo Higuain.

Juve director Fabio Paratici supposedly spoke to Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and Chelsea transfer guru Fali Ramadani.

The trio discussed Daniele Rugani and Mattia Caldara, where informal offers of £40m and £35.5m respectively are said to have been made.

That is according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim Juventus are also sweating over what to do with Gonzalo Higuain.

The Turin club need to sell to cover the cost of Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival.

And the report claims they are willing to go as low as £49m to offload the Argentina international.
