Mikel Landa has been one of the protagonists of the multiple falls of the day but the Alava has entered the goal with the favorites. The German John Degenkolb (Trek) has won the ninth stage of the Tour de France, the one of the pavés, played between Arras and Roubaix with a route of 156.5 kilometers, in which the Belgian Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) reinforced the leader's jersey Degenkolb won by speed to his teammates of the final flight, Van Avermaet and Belgian Yves Lampaert (Quick Step), with a time of 3h.24.26. Then came a group with Sagan 18 seconds and 26 great favorites: Valverde, Froome, Dumoulin, Quintana and Mikel Landa, who linked after going behind by a fall. In general Van Avermaet leads in 43 seconds to the British Geraint Thomas (Sky) and in 44 to the Belgian Philippe Gilbert (Quick Step). Fifth is Valverde at 1.31 and Landa tenth at 1.42. This Monday the Tour de France will enjoy the first day of rest.
