Juppitèr Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Bugatti is producing 500 Chiron units, of which 70 were sold last year. And although that sounds too exclusive, the French brand is developing a new vehicle called Divo. Limited to 40 units, the model will have a much higher price than the Chiron. Instead of costing around 3 million dollars, the Divo will cost 5 million euros, around $ 5.87 million dollars at today's exchange rate. The model bears his name in tribute to Alberto Divo, the French driver who won the Targa Florio race for Bugatti on a mountainous circuit of Sicily in the late 1920s. The Bugatti Divo has a light weight, more aerodynamic strength, as well as a stronger g stronger to improve its management. The model will also have a new design language. "The Divo is made for the corners," said Bugatti president Stephan Winkelmann. "With this project, the Bugatti team has had an opportunity to interpret DNA in terms of agility, handling and much better performance." Surely the Divo will have many of the characteristics of the Chiron. Among those could be the 8.0-liter W-16 engine with four turbos that produces 1,479 horsepower and 1,180 foot-pounds of torque. We will learn more about the Divo when it is presented at Pebble Beach next August 24th. Source: Bugatti
