Spain ties with Morocco and qualifies eighth as first group (2-2)

Spain qualified for the second round of the World Cup in Russia as the first of Group B, after drawing two with Morocco in Ekaterinburg and Portugal equal one with Iran in Saransk.

The resolution of the group arrived in the final stretch of the two matches, with a goal awarded to Iago Aspas thanks to the video arbitration and, also in the extension, with a penalty from the Iranians also awarded with the VAR that transformed Karim Ansarifard.

Thus things, Portugal will face Uruguay on Saturday in Sochi (20:00), while Spain will face Russia next Sunday at the Luzhniki stadium in Moscow (16:00).
