Blexfraptor Posted June 24, 2018 Share Posted June 24, 2018 The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad al Hussein, recommended on Friday that the International Criminal Court (ICC) "get involved" in the case of serious abuses committed in Venezuela given the "widespread impunity" and the inaction of the State. "Given that the State does not seem to have the capacity or willingness to prosecute those responsible for the serious violations of human rights, there are solid reasons to consider a greater involvement of the International Criminal Court in this matter," Zeid said in a statement. .
