The full results of the 2018 World Cup draw

Host Russia will open the 2018 World Cup against Saudi Arabia in Moscow, while Germany will begin defending the title against Mexico after the draw of the group stage, which has seen some dramatic encounters.

Brazil, the world champion five times, will play Switzerland at the start of Group E matches, which also include Costa Rica and Serbia.

Portugal will meet Spain's neighbors in the first Group B match, while Argentina will compete in Group D with the newcomers Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria.
