The remake will appear in cinemas on October 5 and features protagonists on Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. In the trailer released on Wednesday, Gaga is featured as he composes a new track, "The Shallow," and it's recognizable ... or at least that's how the singer's fans commented. The video has been massively shared and has just over 1 million views in just a few hours since launch. The film itself will feature Cooper's directorial debut and sites such as contactmusic.com note that the fragments of this film were cast just during the concert that Gaga favored Coachella in 2017. TMZ also writes that Cooper initially gave Beyonce the role, but although the artist was delighted with the proposal, she eventually declined. The original film - "A Star Is Born" - appeared in 1937 and tells the story of a crafty artist who marries a man whose career is declining. Over the years, well-known actresses such as Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand played the lead roles in remakes made in 1954 and 1976 respectively.
