Understanding the cause of unannounced closures and reducing autonomy

Rechargeable batteries such as iPhone have a limited number of charging cycles, and they may no longer provide the desired autonomy or performance when you close or close that number. Also, the life and performances of rechargeable batteries can also be influenced by factors such as their age, type, or even exposure to devices at extremely low or high temperatures. That's why it's also possible that a one-second or two-time iPhone (and probably not reaching even the 1,000 charge / discharge cycles) can be noticed that it closes unexpectedly or needs to be loaded more often than in the beginning.

Note: According to Apple, at the 1,000 loading / unloading cycle, iPhone batteries should still have 80% of the original capacity, but this may vary depending on usage, model, and other factors. Normally, a downloaded and uploaded once-daily iPhone should reach 1,000 cycles in about two and a half years.

Note, however, that not only a faulty battery can cause unnecessary shutdowns and / or reduced autonomy. iOS has an automatic power-off feature (and iPhone lock), which triggers when the outside temperature is too low to protect the battery. In terms of autonomy, it can also be influenced by a change in usage patterns, some applications, functionalities and / or other software factors.

Check the need to replace the battery

Before you start, you'll need ...

A device:

iPhone 5 or any recent model.

Operating system version:

iOS 10.2.1 or any later version.

1. Open the application;

2.Open the battery;

3. At the top of the screen, check whether or not the text "iPhone battery may require service checking" even between the header (Battery) and Low Consumption Mode.
